Sharing a network
- Join without typing: Phone cameras read the code and offer to join the network with its name and password.
- Special characters work: Semicolons, colons, commas and quotes in the name or password are escaped as the Wi-Fi QR format requires.
- Hidden networks: Tick Hidden network if the network does not broadcast its name, so phones look for it.
Frequently asked questions
Can someone read my password from the code?
Yes, anyone who scans it. Print it only where everyone who sees it may use the network, such as a guest network.
Does the code stop working if I change the password?
It keeps the old password, because the password is in the pattern. Make a new code after a change.
