TTF to WOFF2
- For websites: WOFF2 is the compressed font format every current browser loads. The font inside stays the same: glyphs, kerning, features and variable axes.
- Checked glyph by glyph: The WOFF2 is decoded again with the reference WOFF2 library and compared with your font before it is offered.
- Signatures: A digital signature (DSIG) in the font is removed, as the WOFF2 format requires; the converter says so when it happens.
Frequently asked questions
Does an OTF work too?
Yes. OTF fonts with CFF outlines become WOFF2 the same way; their outlines stay CFF.
