Font Viewer

Open a font file to see it rendered, browse its glyphs and read its names, metrics and axes.

Your files stay on your device.

Drop a font to see it, its glyphs and what it contains

TTF, OTF, WOFF, WOFF2 and font collections, up to 67.1 MB.

The font is read and drawn in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, installed or changed.

What the viewer shows

  • The font itself: Your own sample text in the font, at any size, with its OpenType features as switches: ligatures, figure styles, small capitals and stylistic sets the font contains.
  • Every mapped character: The characters the font maps, a few hundred at a time, with their code point and glyph name. Search by character, by U+ code or by glyph name.
  • Variable fonts: Each axis as a slider, from its minimum to its maximum, and the named styles the font defines, such as Bold or Condensed.
  • What the file states: Names, version, vendor, metrics, character coverage, layout features and the license text the font carries. License fields are shown as written in the file, not as advice.

Frequently asked questions

Which font files open here?

TrueType and OpenType fonts (TTF and OTF, also variable fonts), WOFF and WOFF2 web fonts, and font collections (TTC and OTC), one font at a time. The file is recognized by its content, not by its name.

Does viewing a font install it?

No. The browser draws it for this page only, as a temporary face. Closing the font removes it again; your system fonts stay as they were.
